Scholarship ProgramEach year since 1965, the Desert Art Center has awarded scholarships to high school seniors accepted to an art or design-related degree program at a credited art school, college or university. In early spring, candidate students are invited to submit:
Applicants should check our event calendar for submission deadline date. Scholarships are awarded at a special presentation that recipients are expected to attend. Parents, families, teachers and friends are invited. Applicants will be notified by email and a follow up letter. Student Art ShowsThe Desert Art Center, in partnership with the Palm Springs Unified School District, presents an annual High School Art Show. Students from Cathedral City, Desert Hot Springs, and Palm Springs High Schools are invited to submit their finest artwork. Grants to School TeachersGrants are available to Art Teachers in Palm Springs Unified Schools District for the purchase of materials, equipment or transportation not normally covered by the school budget. Contact Us for details. |
