The California landscape is so diverse. I love the fact you only have to travel a half hour and the terrain, light, colors, textures and atmosphere can be so different.
“It’s easy to be enthusiastic about painting the Southern California Landscape as it is so dynamic” says Lisa, “Painting Plein air is not only a challenge but also a great deal of fun.” Working in Water Colors and Oil Paint, Lisa received training at Mike Coyle Studio of Fine Art in MN.
Lisa developed her skill as a Plein Air artist in Minnesota painting alongside Mike Coyle, Richard Kochenash. Since moving to the Coachella Valley she has studied with Elaine Mathews, Terry Masters and Bruce Webber in Palm Springs CA. Her work is collected internationally and been shown in galleries and museums thru out the USA.
